Good place to stay, best value for money at this part of the island.

The place is quiet and picturesque, if you are looking for great views, fantastic beaches, surroundings to explore and some comfort at the same time, this is the best value for money choise.
It is at 3 star hotel and you get what you pay for, but the location at Laem Tong is amazing.
The beach, Laem Tong, is very nice, sandy and beautiful. Approx. 100 meters out there is an even more beautiful coral reef with lots of fish, we saw eg. clown fish (Nemo) and a lot more. Perfect snorkeling spot. It is best at lower tide because you get closer to the reef, the boat traffic is limited, no speedboat tourists and you can actually walk out to the corals... watch out for boats anyway!
In addition, there is a route to the popular viewpoint, it is 6km into the jungle so take more water with you, don't repeat our mistakes :-) But I love adventures and this place is great to explore.
