Good location, good hotel atmoshpere
room service was very good. all the main things for four stars hotel were perfect. but:
- too much bleaching powder in the pool, it stinks and it`s hard to lay at the pool when it is sunny;
- teeth brushing set wasn`t provided for my room for some reasons (in the voucher it was said only breakfast is not included, nothing said about teeth brush =\). the staff was very friendly and suggested to me (4-stars hotel visitor) to go and buy it outside!!!
- i asked to book a car for me to go to the airport and they told me the wrong price for the car, they informed me about the mistake several hours later and asked double price for the car! i had to look for the car in the evening, when no one is working already! thanks to my tour guide found one.
- they have a table of exchange rate on the reception, it was not correct; the rate for hkd is 4.8, they wrote 1.5!! and asked me to pay deposit, instead of 700!!! after i asked for the manager, i was told that he is out and the receptionist cant reach him on the phone without even trying to call him!!
conclusion: only cleaning staff and concierge are competent. all the other staff leave a lot to be desired.
