Amazing location and rooms-services to improve
We enjoyed very much our weekend at Zeavola hotel. Location is exceptional and wooden rooms give a charm and an authenticity to the place that is very hard to find in Thailand.
There is a charming swimming pool surrounded by trees and flowers. This labyrinth of trees continues around the rooms and gives intimacy to the overall atmosphere. We enjoyed the spa that was very professional in, again, very nice wooden rooms. Personnel is polite and willing to help. But most perfect moment was when waking up on Sunday with only the noise from the birds outside the room: such calm is just pure luxury.
However, for such price and a five stars hotel, some points could be improved.
Help for transfer: as the location is quite remote and there are several routes from Phuket, we would have appreciated to receive an email informing us on different alternative to get there, as well as help to book the different boats.
Food: that was really the disappointment of our stay. Although we know that it is hard to get good quality of food in an island, this was just not at the standard of the rest. Rice was not well cooked, no freshly squeezed juices only bottles (in Thailand, how can it be??), no seafood bbq on the beach, limited choice of seafood... It is understandable that western food is only ok but how can you not master the basic Thai dishes?
