Yes Zeavola is expensive but it is also amazing. Fantastic service, rooms amongst the trees, a setting straight from a movie!
We really loved our stay even though the only airconditioned place was your Bedroom, there was a breeze that swept through our open walled room to cool it down and the view was amazing!
If you have privacy issues the rooms may freak you out but they are adequetly screened with greenery to give you that out in nature feel, I never saw anyone and no one saw me even though there are not many solid walls, it did freak my husband out a bit but he got over it!

best resort on phi phi island

Not the expected beach but a really nice hotel.
