Hodge-Podge Hotel

The most lasting impression is the rude, confrontational hiso manager/owner -- obviously a person who is accustomed to being waited on, and not serving others. The rank-and-file staff were more friendly and treid to help. This hotel seems hastily designed, and presumably is an afterthought to the Amarin's laundry business, which operates in the basement. The outdoor fire escape stairway ends abruptly in mid air. Another interior stairway leads nowwhere, leading to a dark stairwell with locked doors. Air con unit was covered in mold. Front-facing units have significant road noise. The first room they tried to give me had two twin beds shoved together to make a 'king'. In the bathroom a sloppy caulk/grout job led to water leaking all over the floor. Not impressed

Nice Room but not many staff for service.
