Great hotel with friendly service

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. Even though the Renaissance is quite far out from other heavily populated areas, it was easy enough to book a free van to take us to Chaweng or Lamai. The restaurants at the resort were also quite expensive, but we were paying for convenience and very great quality food so we never felt short changed.

The rooms were good, although I found the toilet was a bit too small for my liking and I usually had to flush twice...it felt very cramped. The jacuzzi seemed a bit old and tended to spray back debris into the spa. We never ended up using it.
