Wonderful Stay in a Clean, Friendly Hotel

Absolutely wonderful stay at the Renaissance. From the moment we arrived we were taken care of. Very friendly staff always happy to help and offer recommendations of what's good to see and do around the island. Being vegetarian, Banana Leaf was a goto restaurant for food at the hotel. The Green Curry is absolutely delicious. The Chefs pay special attention to your dietary requirements and will modify pretty much any meal to suit your needs. The villa and pool with garden view was clean, well kept and relaxing to stay in. Be cautious at night as one of the bedroom lights is situated directed on top of the blades of the spinning fan causing an uncomfortable strobe light affect in the main seating area. We would just turn it off and stick with the air con to keep cool. The swimming pool is nice and large and there were always plenty of deck chairs to relax on. The beach is and water area are not the best on the island but then it's only a 15 minute drive to get to Chaweng Beach where the sea and sand are beautiful. All in all an absolutely wonderful stay and we certainly hope to return to the Renaissance soon.

Outstanding service level and great ambience.

superb and relaxing holiday for the family

It was an excellent stay.

Great hotel for the price
