Romantic resort among palm- and pine trees
Haadson resort is located at a few miles long white sand beach and is set amongst palm and pine trees. Bungalows are spread out in a well kept garden which is split by a small, tranquil river. You walk along a wooden boardwalk to get to the reception and restaurant area. Our room on the second floor in one of the coconut villas was spacious and well maintained. Bathroom and balcony were also in a good condition. Breakfast was served buffet style and offered a variety of hot and cold food. Dinner at the resorts' restaurant was delicious. Hotel has a couple of comfortable sun chairs at the beach, shadow however is very limited. The pool area was less popular in the days' heat as the refreshing ocean breeze was missing. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We didn't like the high charge for internet useage (THB 100 for 45 minutes of very slow speed). In addition, they charged THB 160 for a small mosquito spray. Bottom line: Very romantic resort in a very idyllic setting.
