Lovely hotel in a beautiful tropical garden
The hotel location and layout is simply lovely. Pictures don`t give justice to the atmosphere you will find here. Very peaceful, in a very well maintained garden. We stayed in Coconut room, the lower category, but still very big and clean, with all comforts.
Higher categories looks even better and they are a built as single pavilion each, looks lovely, next time will book this category.
The position of the hotel is a bit isolated, about 10 km from Khao Lak downtown. This is actually a pros if you ant to be far from commercial areas and live in the nature for a few days. I think this resort is ideal for couples and families with small children. I also saw many oldies, so I guess it`s the ideal place for pure relaxation. The beach is very long, but the sea was not crystal clear, actually I think because of the weather, it wasn`t that great.
Breakfast was good, partially buffet and partially a la carte, which I think is the best way to avoid waste of food. We joined a thematic Thai buffet for dinner and I have to say it wasn`t very good, but still we enjoyed some Thai dance performed by children from a nearby school, a good way to support local people.
