Absolutely wowed by Centara Kata

We found Centara Kata to be an excellent, well-maintained 4-star. From the room design to the facilities the hotel scores high on being family friendly. There was a little basin in the room next to the minibar which was indispensable for a family with two young kids. A row of pull-out clothes racks in the wardrobe allowed us to unpack and get organized in a jiffy upon arrival. Staff were friendly and keen. The Kids Club kept our 5-year old happy with the many activities, and so did the many different pools. The hotel's restaurant was good and not overpriced. Breakfast was a delight, the best so far for any 4-star I've been to. They had at least 3 vegetarian options for breakfast - which I later came to know was due to the Phuket Vegetarian Festival that week, but they do usually have some even otherwise I checked.
