Our second visit to this lovely hotel

we are a brazilian / british family of beach lovers based in bangkok. we have tried a number of beaches in southern thailand and so far this one is by some way our favourite. long, clean, wide stretches of sand, hermit crabs wandering up and down, vegetation behind the beach for a mile or so on either side, and no jetskis or longtail boats.

the hotel is secluded and there are no restaurants or shops nearby. this is made up for by the generally excellent local western and thai food, and the good value transfers to khao lak. in low season (second half october) the weather was perfectly good (usually sunny mornings with some rain in the afternoon). the occupancy was low so we were treated like royalty (e.g. at breakfast) but we have been here before at new year and the service was of a good standard then.

wondeful location - peaceful and lovely

Good value for money

Gigantic family room. Almost empty in low season
