Not as good as expected

Beach: superb beach. Very quiet and relaxing. Nice beach chairs and umbrellas. Quality of sand excellent.

Service: Passable only. Most staff do not speak English. Many staff did not have cheerful dispositions. Some came across as proud. Although I must say some were very helpful.

Location: The location of the resort is not exactly convenient. It is quite a distance away from the town areas. Had to take shuttle services each time we wanted to go out for food etc. Walking was not an option.

Food: at the resort restaurant was pretty pricey for the portion size and quality. In fact food prices for the entire Khao Lak area was pretty pricey. That place was definitely a honey trap for tourist.

Compared to my stay at the Mermaid Boutique Hotel at Koh Lanta (which was excellent), this stay was only passable.
