Great as a base to visit Bangkok but facilities could be better

I stayed 3 nights in Bangkok in a junior suite. It is not located in the main building but across the street through an alley. The junior suite is very large, with kitchenette, washing machine, TV in both the lounge and bedroom. There is no dryer for the laundry but clothes dry quickly using the clothes line in the bathroom.
The main part of the hotel had a restaurant, small pool and gym. The pool is fine to cool down but not for somebody wishing to do laps. The gym was basic but sufficient for most.
It's a short walk (300 m) to Sukhumvit Road and in between 2 BTS stations (Nana and Asok). Walking distance to supermarkets (Robinson is open 24 hours) and shopping centre (Terminal 21). And of course plenty of bars and restaurants.
