If you are looking for nightlife it is NOT the one you should take. If you want a nice beach and not all the hawkers it is nice. We were booked in a grand deluxe villa and got the one between the reception entrance and the road, which was very noisy. We changed to the paradise suite, which was nice but too expensive. And there we go, the main con is that they charge you for everything. they charge you 400THB for the Airport transfer, which is around the corner. They charged the car twice, because there was another couple leaving and my husband left alone. so they shared the car, but not the price :-) The staff was friendly, especially in the restaurant. the pool is small, but we did not care, we were on the beach.

Overall we enjoy the stay
Overall was a good stay. Except of the funny smell in the room. Not sure what the smell is. The cleaner solved the problem by spraying some fragrance and adding essential oil to kill the funny smell.
