Samui Paradise - Chaweng

We stayed here for new years eve which was really good. There was a comp charge for the celebrations which was too high for what was provided however we enjoyed the evening particularly the lucky lanterns which filled the sky at midnight! The staff where friendly and helpful. The breakfast was ok but by the time we made it there (9am) all the hot food looked old and not very appealing. We stayed in a grand deluxe villa which was good although slightly too dark. If we could afford it we would have liked to stay in the seafront villas or suites as they are right on the beach. The hotel itself is right at the end of Chaweng beach and took about half a hour to walk to the centre. We liked the hotel and position and would consider staying there again if we return to Koh Samui.
