A great hideaway
This was our 2nd stay at Puteri and we were not disappointed. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are fantastic. The only low point was the view from the room compared to our previous stay. Our previous stay we had a sea view balcony, but this time we were facing the mountains and under the cover of some trees.
The owner has invested quite heavily in developing the resort since our stay in March 2016; they now have a swimming pool that overlooks the town (great for sunsets), and the new villas look very well designed and built.
The resort itself is far enough away from all the beach bars etc that you do not hear the noise, but close enough to take the short walk to the beach and local shops etc. The rooms are on higher ground, so be prepared for a bit of uphill walking.
I highly recommend Puteri, it's a great little hideaway in one of (if not the) best bays on Koh Lanta. Very handy for the must do places such as Pad Thai Rock 'n' Roll, Scubafish, Drunken Sailor, and the Bad Penny.
