One of the best resorts in Phuket

We had the best time at Ramaburin. The hotel is well maintained, very stylish, with an exotic pool in the belly of L-shaped building; most of the rooms have beautiful pool view through big windows which open into balconies and scenic green hills in the background. Ground floor rooms have pool access, very classy with a balcony opening directly into the pool. Over all the building has an excellent ambiance. The rooms are spacious, bathrooms are beautifully designed with both shower cabin and a big bath tub. The mattresses are a bit hard, but not uncomfortable. In fact I found them better in maintaining the normal curve of my back arch during sleep. Free WiFi signals with good strength are available all over the resort even in the outdoor pool area, the only downside is its frequent disconnection/re-connection after every 20 minutes or so. The rooms do not have a safe but there is a big one available at the reception with separate compartments for every guest. The staff is very welcoming and attentive, and the whole resort seems aseptically clean. The reception staff can communicate in basic English. The resort is excellently located with beach at only 3 minutes walk distance, still the road is quite peaceful with moderate motorized traffic. All facilities, 7-11, tour offices, souvenir shops, restaurants, fast food outlets(McDonald/Burger king/KFC) are at a walking distance. The resort kitchen itself offers exotic dishes at good prices, though we didn't try any of them, because of the halal food issue. The dining hall is beautifully designed with a full glass wall view of the road outside. The breakfast menu has moderate variety covering the basics but not too lavish. Weighing machine facility to check the luggage weight is surprisingly not available. Over all, our stay at Ramaburin was most comfortable. I recommend this resort to every one looking for a nice time at a classy place, which is peaceful yet so close to the hub of all activity.
