OK but don't expect too much

We booked a "Deluxe with breakfast", but as soon as we arrived at the hotel when checking in, the front lady said that breakfast was not included... Great start! But I made sure that it would be included, and I even told them that I'd cancel my reservation if not.

The resort is old, and the room, which was the closest to the beach, was a bit smelly (from humidity). The shower room wasn't clean, the mirrors hadn't been done in a long time. The bed sheets were OK though.

After dropping our suitcases in the room, we left but the door could not lock properly. This was in low season, and if I were in their management, since there were only 2 rooms taken while we were there (including us), I would make sure that the rooms and everything else around are 100% fine. How long does it take to clean 2 rooms perfectly compared to dozens?! There were even bugs in the room.

I should have followed my first idea and stay at a 4-star hotel!

Fantastic in all respects
