Way Overpriced and old

This hotel, as with many in Krabi, was overpriced for the facilities and standard offered and especially so for Thailand. In addition to the already overpriced tariff - they increased the price mid week for peak season, making the price an absolute rip off. The location is fine in the middle of the main street and the breakfast is ok. The pool is shaded most of the day and is cold - so wouldn't pay extra for a pool here as nobody used it while I was there. The rooms are spacious, but in dire need of renovation to justify the price - especially the bathroom. I have travelled to Thailand in excess of 15 times and this is really poor value. That goes for Krabi in general where greed and disregard of their natural beauty will be their downfall. Being helped along by the boat load of package tourists from mainland China intent on consuming and destroying everything in their wake.
