Glamping

Overall the experience was good. The hotel and its grounds are very peaceful and perfect if you want to be left alone.
The cabins are set around lots of still water 'rivers' which we weren't expecting. Obviously this creates mosquito issues. This was a bit stressful as the rooms are designed in a way that they're best enjoyed when the two opening walls are open. At night when you are trying everything you can to avoid being bitten you must leave the walls closed which makes the room seem very small (turn down service closes the net around the bed which leaves little space).
Lots of great places to eat and drink around the hotel. Wander out as there's some really great inexpensive places and theyre a short convenient tuk tuck ride.
I would recommend this hotel for couples who are interested in a different approach to a 4* hotel. Something a little out of the ordinary.
We've likened it to glamping.
