Rundown and old
I hate to leave negative reviews, however this place earned one from me. For the same budget I suggest you look elsewhere. Extremely uncomfortable bed and pillow; a leaky tap ruined my toiletries; bathroom fittings kept falling off the wall; furniture and cabinets look old and well used, room was not serviced daily; terrible and undercooked pizza; boring and samey breakfast; the swimming pool is relatively small and often had collections of unidentifiable organic matter floating at the bottom. The room door lock/key is awkward and difficult to use particularly at night. Many of the rooms are adjoining by a thin door - this may be a plus or minus depending on what you require, it was definitely easy to hear conversations even in other non-adjoining rooms. Can still hear the music from the clubs further down the beach. The beach area itself is small and is also right in the middle of the one area of Cheweng Beach where jet skis are allowed - scary - I didn't dare venture into the ocean. At least the WiFi worked fairly consistently.
