4 day break
I think Pimalai resort was perfect for our 4 day mid term break. It was still out of season, but pleasantly full with world travellers and quite a few children which always helps.
The resort it self is set high on the side of the hill with a great aspect looking looking out into the bay. Koh lanta is not hugely populated like it;s neighbouring island of Krabi, thus reason for booking Pimalai.
Good size villas with plunge pools, nice decorated, not overly fussy.
transport was supplied by the open electric cars that zipped up and down.
Breakfast was always nice with very friendly stuff, not a huge selection but nice and fresh. Lunch at the Banyan tree was good and the quality again excellent with attentive staff.
Dinner at the Seven Seas, a good choice of international menu and happy to accomodate different eating habits.
The pool was huge and great fun. The other facilities were good and access to the beach easy. the resort ticked all the boxes, we just wished the weather was better!!
