The hotel was very nice. It was clean enough but it smelled not good because the bamboo was not impregnated corretly. So it smelled quite bad when it was raining some days. The beach was very nice and clean. Unfortunately the coral reef was destroyed by the motorboats of the Thai boatmen. The transport with boats is the most expensive thing in Thailand. You can drive with a new expesive taxi 30 km for 4 Euros but you pay 50 Euro for 5 km on a very old boat. This is because of the boat mafia everywhere in Thailand. The most beautiful thing is to visit the cave on Koh Muk. The best way to go inside is with a canoe, but it is nearly a war to get the possibility to do that. The Thai mafia wants to earn money with their boats and tell you lies about "danger". But the most save way is to use a canoe. I would recommend to go to Koh Muk or to Koh Lanta and visit from there the other island. Koh Krandan does not look good anymore - too many hotels and extremely much waste everywhere. You have to cry when you see the island with all the waste.
