A very relaxing stay at a beautiful location.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff greet you with a warm smile and friendly service. Lets get the negatives out the way. On the first night i was eaten alive by mosquitoes, the romm was thick with them, as soon as you turned the light off. The staff did sray in the morning and it was fine after that. Getting there is a bit of an adventure but i like that, so not a negative for me. The outdoor shower was not really my cup of tea, but i went with it as it was a bit novel (don't shower at night or the mosquitoes will suck you dry.. lol) Every thing else was just brilliant. The food was good. There are no cars or scooters on the island, infact, there is only about 6 hotels. I got there in the off season but the weather was great, the sea was postcard beautiful and right at your door step. I had great adventures, snorkelling, canoeing and tacking the somewhat strenuous walk over themountain, through the jungle to the other side of the island. But it is well worth it if you love peace and quite and just the sound of nature. Plenty of food from the 6 hotels and a few back packer places as well. In the on season, they have scuba diving, parasailing and all the other things you would expect. So, go here if you want a very romantic time with your partner and peace and quiet and a very relaxing time. Not a place for clubbers and thrill seekers. Plenty of beautiful corals and reefs to see off the island. And one last thing, iwent out for a snorkel before midnight just to see if anything was out there that i didn't see in the day but to may delight, as i swam, millions of tiny lights appeard in the water. It was a very magical moment and kept me amused for hours. I think there is some kind of plankten in the water and when they are disturbed, they light up like a million tiny water fairies...The kid in me just came pouring out...lol. So, go, if it's your thing , you will love it.
