Amazing experience

We showed up at 9 am for a 2 pm check-in, expecting to wait 5 hours to get into the room. We were exhausted after getting up at 4am at our previous hotel to drive 60km go see a sunrise and then driving to Khao Lak. Upon sitting in reception we were told our room would be cleaned and ready at 10am. That was a huge relief. Then we were offered a free breakfast buffet to pass the hour. This was above and beyond to offer to us, without us asking for it or expecting it. The breakfast was delicious and our room was ready as soon as we were done. This was just a small gesture to the resort, but a huge benefit to us, because of our circumstance, and created a great first impression, that it wasn’t all about money but was about us having a positive experience. We had the opposite experience at a hotel in Myanmar, and I can tell you which hotel gets our gratitude and loyalty. Everything about our stay was perfect, we were treated with the utmost care to ensure that was the case. We’ll be back.

Nice room, relaxing atmosphere
