Great Service

We really enjoyed our time at the Khao Lak resort. We rented one oceanfront bungalow and two seaview ones and noticed that the cleaning service was not consistent. While we received fresh fruit on a daily basis in our room, one seaview room only got it the first day while the other didnt at all. The cleaning of the bathroom/toilet was not up to standard. The lighting in the rooms were too poor to read at night and there was an absence of any clock or device to tell time in the rooms. Storage of clothing was difficult since they only offered a few very shallow drawers in entire room. We loved the jungle atmosphere and environment and the people that worked at the resort. The breakfast buffet was fabulous and offered a wide range of options for everyone. The cooking class they offered for an extra expense was worthwhile - for two people (private lesson) they had 4 chefs and a concierge representative assisting during the whole process.

Nice hotel, fine beach-restaurant, friendly staff.
