Comfortable stay, quite satisfied
My stay at Marriott Executive Apt. Mayfair was very comfortable. Housekeeping was great, we didn’t have to remind them twice about bringing extra towels, robes, etc. Front door staff was always welcoming and smiling and ready to help out in any way possible.
The Hotel/Service Apts, is a clean, tall building situated in the business area, very close to MBK (local stalls, and department), Central Shilom (Department, lovely supermarket, and food court), banks. Central Shilom is about 10 minutes on foot, whereas u need a taxi to MBK.
Just on the left of the hotel, there is a small supermarket located on the ground floor of one of the buildings; there’s also a bank on the right of the hotel a few buildings over.
A few restaurants line up the street, with smaller shops such as 7/11, Starbucks. There is an Italian Restaurant right in front of Marriott.
Our suite was a good size, clean, and modern. The couch and bed were too comfy to get up from. Washroom had a tub with rain shower, there was a dinning table, fully equipped kitchen and they even wash your dishes for you. There was no laundry machine in my suite , but there is one on the 26th floor. Take the elevator to the 25th floor (bar, swimming pool, sauna,) and take the stairs to the 26th floor to enter the gym or laundry room. It’s got one laundry and one drier. Used it twice, very handy after a nice long swim in the infinity pool overlooking the skyline of Bangkok.
Room service was good, ordered twice.
Would recommend this hotel, and would come back if in the area. It was a happy stay for me.
