Excellent stay at Marriott

I stayed at this hotel for a week in late June. On arrival I was immediately offered an upgrade from a 42 sq rooom to a cavernous 84 sq room for only 380 baht per night. Great value. It was worth spending the extra for the size and comfort, and compared to what you would get for the same price for a hotel room in Bangkok, I would definately recommend this option. Good standard breakfasts in a intimate atmosphere, it did not have the 'hotel' feel about it. The only down side of the stay was that it took about 10 minutes to walk to the Central Shopping Complex and Skytrain services. Great value and range of restaurants on the other side of the street.

Very cheap and good quality 5 star hotel.
