Porpiang is a new hotel, so as you'd expect, it's clean, well decorated, with everything working. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is small with limited facilities - there's no mini bar, restaurant etc, but there are many shops and restaurants nearby. It's in a quiet location, down a soi one road back from the waterfront (the river is about a 5 min walk). The only problem is parking - there are about 5 spaces at the front, a few more in an adjoining soi. As the hotel becomes more popular, I could see parking being a problem. Breakfast choice is limited, but the food is cooked to-order, from the restaurant across the road. We met the owner, who was keen to hear feedback and any ideas for changes. Overall, a great little hotel.
