Nice hotel which was let down by some unfortunate points...

Firstly the good points. The hotel is nice and new with nice facilities, nice pool, nice room etc. The location is good for anyone attending the University or Conference center but apart from that, it's a long way from Hatyai central.
Now for the not so good points. The mattress is H A R D. In fact, it's one of the hardest mattresses I've ever had the misfortune to sleep on. This was also after requesting the "softest available mattress" in my original booking. The next issue was the most disappointing of all... The breakfast serving area was covered in ants. This might have been forgivable except that the "chef" as well as 4 or 5 other members of staff were just standing around the same serving area and chatting among themselves during our entire breakfast. I can only imagine how infuriated I would be if I was the owner of this nice, new hotel and I couldn't rely on my staff to monitor and address something as simple as this.
