Worst experience after 40+ trips

Been coming to Thailand for 20 yrs. 1st hotel that had absolutely no water pressure so the water heater would cut off and on. Location was good. Breakfast was sparse, smallest after being in 40 + hotels. The main problems was 1. Internet. Signal was there but no connectivity, each morning we would tell the staff who promised to have it fixed and upon our return in the evening not working. But this was nothing compared to booking a taxi thru the hotel to go to the local water park. We discussed it with staff 2xs and my Thai daughter spoke in Thai to them we got in taxi booked for us and set out into the hills after an hour we were worried where we should be so looked on Google maps to find we had made a circle . We stopped the driver, we were in the back of pickup, and he said he was taking us to waterfalls not park. He called the hotel who then spoke with my daughter and was told if we do not like it they would leave us on side of road! We finally agreed to pay part.

Far better than expected
