Great location for US embassy

The hotel is really a luxury 5 stars hotel. Though we checked in a bit late, we requested for the connecting room since we shared the lugage. There was a little problem while we checked in because a Japanese receptionist had upgraded us to a corner room, everything was set, got the room keys in her hands. Suddenly a Thai supervisor, I guess, had approached and not allowed us to be upgraded, took away the key card and tried to put us in the unconnecting rooms and of course took longer time finding the new rooms. In fact I understand that point because we did not book the corner room but as a supervisor she should not have done so. What she should do was telling her staff afterwards what to do in case there was a similar situation, not ruin her face and the guest. Anyway finally maybe she saw us waiting for too long, she said yes.
