Ultimately, it took me raising my voice a great deal and refusing to take no for an answer until a female staff member (who was great) came and instructed Bond to find us 3 rooms now. The whole situation was SO embarrassing for my whole family and to have this happen after such a joyous occasion was so disappointing.
A friend who wasn't able to attend the wedding had purchased myself and my husband a spa package from Bandara. It turned out the front desk had sent the vouchers to the wrong room. When we finally received our vouchers on our last day (i.e. we went down to reception and had to ask for them) we were unable to book the spa. The spa staff were very apologetic but they were fully booked because there was a wedding party from Korea who had bookings all day. After much to-ing and fro-ing they managed to squeeze us in, mostly I think because they thought bridezilla was going to explode!
Bandara did not offer us any good will gesture after these incidents.
