Privacy in a luxury setting
This is the second time we stayed at Pavilions Phuket. The first was in 2007 when we stayed in the ocean view pool pavilion. The sea view was really amazing and the sun set scene was very romantic if you relax in the Sala.
This time, we chose to stay at the newly opened Plantation villa. There was no sea view but the view was just as nice, facing mountains instead. The pool in this villa is a little smaller compared to the ocean view pool villa but is made up by having a separate spa room. The spa room is equiped with 2 massage beds as well as a steam room within the shower room. We had a couple massage and the masseuses were very professional and had excellent massage techniques.
Service standard was excellent with the staff ever attentive but not intrusive.
Food standard was good and we had most of our meals in the villa. The free afternoon tea was a little disappointing though as it looks like some were leftover from breakfast and there were not many choices.
Overall it is still an excellent choice for couples seeking to relax in privacy in a luxury setting.
