It was a good hour drive north of airport. Not much to do while raining - don't go during monsoon season. Food passable. Blue tarp over main lobby ruined many a photo. Check in and check-out process was way too long. Not all staff understood English well enough to request special orders off of menus (Thai omelete without the onions) came out as a Thai omelete with onions. Beach wasn't all that grand. Bikes were nice, but don't believe them when they say the waterfall is only a 30 minute bike ride. We thought they were saying "cave" and it was "cape." We looked for the cave for a long time never realizing that it was the wrong word. All and all a disappointing experience. Try the Indiago Pearl in Phuket. It's much better all the way around and a better value.
