Good option for independent travelers

The rooms were nice, clean, and good sized. We were hesitant about the shared bathroom but there were no issues at all - it was clean and never had any availability problems. The guesthouse was in a good central location, too.
Biggest downside for us was the fact that the staff really didn't seem interested in operating their restaurant. We paid for breakfast with the room rate but each morning it felt like a chore to have it made (more than once we had to track down someone, otherwise we would have sat there for who knows how long). We never saw anyone eating there for lunch (we tried once and no one ever came) and they closed it around 6pm even though it says it's open until 9pm.
Good option so long as you don't count on them for meals (or really much other assistance at all).
