Great value at a new and comfortable hotel
We stayed 2 nights after flying into Phuket late one eve. Staff arranged taxi pickup from airport and was very helpful generally. We were pleasantly surprised by how new the place is and our room (Standard Double) was great and well furnished in a modern fashion. Although breakfast options are slightly limited it was adequate and the semi outdoor breakfast seating is very nice with a garden feel to it. The beach is a short walk (5 minutes) through an alley which can become a bit muddy after rain. Generally we found the beach area to be superb. In retrospect probably one of the nicer beaches in Phuket as it's very quiet and clean. Next time we will spend more time in the northern parts of Phuket. I can strongly recommend Ideo Phuket. Transport south is a bit limited and taxis are expensive. However you can hop on the airport bus (the stop is 10 min walk away) for 100Baht per person which will take you all the way to Phuket Town. From there you can take a Songthaew to any beach destination fro 35Baht per person.
