This is my family’s second stay in Point Yamu, the first being around three years ago. We absolutely loved it when we visited as a small family of three and we decided to bring our mums and aunts along for this trip. The youngest member of the group is 2 and the oldest 79. I must say the staff is still outstanding, from the friendly manager who greeted us upon arrival to the very patient Thai boxing instructors who guided my wife and I through the basics of the martial art. Special mention must go to our ever-present butlers Jim and Jane and the fabulous Umi at the Kids’ Club. She’s my daughter’s favourite person in the place after her mum and grandmas. Possibly ahead of the father too. The breakfast spread at La Sirena is great, and the folks are obliging with off-menu orders too. While we enjoyed the food at Nahmyaa, it wasn’t as good as we remembered it to be, especially the crab curry and durian dessert. It’d be great if there’re more activities for older folks as well.
