More of a family hotel lacking a little soul

This is a 5 star hotel but is so big it lacks soul and character, especially compared to other Como hotels. There is nothing to distinguish this as being in Thailand, the corridors are large and grey concrete. Rooms nice and large but again could be anywhere. Most people had children who were filling the pool, running in the restaurant and when we went to the beach club parents were shouting across from the restaurant to the beach to their children
