Bliss
We booked a Bay Pool Suite on Agoda and arrived to be told it was a mistake and actually the rate we paid was for the room without the pool. However my booking confirmation clearly stated the room type. The reception staff said "yah this happens all the time" asked me to talk to the Thai Sales Operator or Agoda about this myself. I told him i wasnt going to spend my holiday figuring out the booking problem. The Front Office manager offered to do the call for me but said they were full and dont have the pool room for me anyway. I emailed the GM with a copy of my confirmation from Agoda and within an hour VIOLA i got the room i booked and everything was perfect. They even sent birthday cake, champagne and flowers to my room. Honestly the room design, facilities, food, even down to the amenities was nothing short of the COMO standard i have always loved. I hope they fixed that booking hic-up because this is really a beautiful property. i would be back in a heartbeat.
