NICE SMALL FAMILY-RUN HOTEL

Dozens of rooms and bungalows in a small family-run hotel.
Booked a standard room for 3 nights, ground floor with pool view and nice terrasse. Room was clean, bright, big, but badly soundproofed. Bed is hard.
Bathroom is basic, smells humidity, just did the job.
Pool is great, big, clean, with sunbeds and parasols.
5min walk to the beach; small track behind the hotel leads you to a nice beach and to the hotel restaurant where breakfast is served (5 extra minute walk on the beach)
Breakfast included means 150baht to spend at the hotel restaurant (just enough for a very bad continental breakfast). Had to pay extra most mornings. Staff at restaurant is nice but slow and busy with their phone.
Staff at hotel, on the contrary, is very helpful, friendly and caring.
You can rent a scooter from the hotel (200 baht) ; necessary if you want to visit the island, not necessary if you just want to chill at the beach/pool.

Good value for money.
