We had booked 6 nights at the Peaceful Resort and wanted to stay in one place, unpack properly and end our trip in complete relaxation. From here it went downhill fast. Peaceful Resort, took our booking through agoda knowing damn well they had no room for us, thinking it would be acceptable to move us to their partner hotel that was completely inferior and didn't match the criteria/price we had selected on agada. Their attitude was dismissive and uncaring, not interested in their guests who had been travelling for 9 hours. The worst part was they knew about the problem prior to our booking, yet still took a booking for a room they knew they didn't have. They said they couldn't remove the room from agoda website, they couldn't contact agoda to inform any problems, thought offering an inferior room was acceptable and offered absolutely nothing by way of a meaningful apology/solution! We were shunted out of the hotel, so not able to comment on facilities! Peacful Resort ruined our stay.
