Basic but clean. Only one overnight and late arrival so difficult to evaluate but owners were very pleasant,helpful and concerned for our family’s wellbeing. Pleasant seeming deck over the river but it was dark/damp so we did / could not use it. Bicycles available to get around. We would go back if passing this way again. The House of Opium museum in the Golden Triangle about 50kms away is a must see visit ....we spent 2.5 hours,could have been more, there in rapt attention. Incredible and frank history of colonialisation,subjugation and exploitation due to and for commercial and political influence. This is,without exaggeration,a 5* visit.

Fantastic hotel in an even better location

It is right on the Mekong river overlooking Laos , staff is friendly and informative.
