Clean and well-run

Day Waterfront is a well-run, spotlessly clean place just off the main road through the centre of Houay Xai. The manager is particularly smiley and helpful. The only room they had available was a triple for $25 per night. It had a nice balcony with a great view of the river and Laos.
Breakfast isn't officially included in the room rate, but there was toast/jam/butter, bananas, small little donut things, cookies etc each morning. Tea and coffee is on tap all day. There's also a kettle in the room with tea/coffee, a TV (no English language channels) and a fridge. Wifi worked well throughout my stay.
Recommended.
