Great Experience

The staff were very nice and helpful.
The location is South of the Island, near to the elephant trekking attraction and near to the waterfall. The beach was fantastic. This was a good spot to be far from the drinking crowd but yet near enough to enjoy the nightlife. South of this area is Bamboo Bay Beach and the National Park. North is Ao Nui Bay Beach. The facilities of Klong Jark Bungalow were limited but sufficient for me. Limited, as in you will not get your swimming pool...cause the beach is just meters away and the calm and clear water.... you are not going to get uniformed service staff cause it is family run and personable members. They are not intrusive and give you as much space as you want.
I rented a moped and explored the island from Saladan Town to the National Park and across to Old Town. Easy and manageable all from Klong Jark.
Stayed in the lowest cost fan hut which I could afford, just a few steps away from the beach front facing aircon bungalows. Did not go with high expectations and was not disappointed.
I miss Koh Lanta :(

The staff went above and beyond to help us during our stay. The room had great air conditioning and the setting was stunning. Excellent food at the hotel as well!
