Lovely hotel

Bit surprised when we turned up and there were 100 pairs of shoes at the front door, but there was a festival on and the hotel expects people to take their shoes off. This was the only thing I didn't like. Just feel that it is more likely you will catch some foot diseases with everyone walking around in bare feet. Breakfast was basic but ok. No salt and none forthcoming when I asked. But staff were very friendly and the rooms were nice.
