Excellent hotel great location

The Grand Swiss is on Soi 11 just off of Sukhumvit. Great access to the Nana BTS and it is easy to walk to both entertainment districts. Easy walk to many restaurants / bars.
They must not have been too busy because when I was checking in the desk clerk spent 10 minutes searching for a room upgrade for me. She found it and it was much appreciated. I got about 10 more square meters in a very nice room with a great view. Great shower and plenty of space in the bathroom. Everything in the hotel was immaculate. The staff was always attentive and helpful.
Included breakfast was great. I didn't try the restaurant for regular meals.
I only had two minor issues.
(1) The swimming pool is only a "dipping" pool, small and only about 3 feet deep. Not much sheltered sitting area by the pool. and it is right by the restaurant
(2) No kettle / instant coffee in the room and could not get a takeaway cup at breakfast. Only option was to order a pot from room service
I would stay again.
