Manager VS Taxis
The manager onboard told me that she would get a meter taxi for me but that did not happen and a taxi occupied a parking space on the hotel premises and he refused to take us to the airport on the meter.How can she allow a taxi occupy a place on the premise and not take us to the airport?I think that make her part of the scam that is going on with the taxis in Bangkok.I will think twice about going there again,because I was told that the taxi was ready once we checked out.It did not happen and I was not happy about that.My wife ended up going out and getting a taxi nearby.She told a person who worked there to call another cab and he lied and told her he could not find one.He lied because I followed him out and all he did was to stand out while many taxis past by and he did not try to stop any of them.I was appauld at what I saw and what he came back and told the manager.There are serious problems going on with taxis and the hotel is part of the problem.Stay out of Bangkok next time..
