More a guesthouse than a hotel...

The place it self was clean, but when we arrived we realized that our room had only a fan, and no AC. When I explained the situation to the person in charge he told me that we booked a fan room, and to upgrade we had to pay 300B extra per night. Overall, we tought it was overpriced, and Thaweesuk should call itself a guesthouse and not a hotel. (You basically live in the family area...they also asked us to do our own dishes: we were shocked since we payed for an hotel, and were very disappointed in the service we received regarding what we were expecting from a hotel...) For example, if we wanted hot water, the manager wouldn’t give it to us directly, but would ask one of his children to do it instead. Details like that explain the rate we gave for this « hotel ».

This is just an ordinary hotel. Clean sheets and poorly furnished rooms. In my opinion the assessment of this hotel is exaggerated. My assessment would be no more than 6.
