Lovely stay on the river

Walls are paper thin so could hear everything from the next room, difficult to get heavy bags down the stairs. Staff didn't have great English so quite unhelpful when asking to borrow the phone they said no go to 7/11. Room wasn't cleaned for duration, clean towels would have been nice. You will get bitten by mosquitoes. Overall though this is a cheap place to stay with very nice surroundings. I would stay again. The travel agent 'travel with locals' just to the right when you come out have moped for rent 200 a day and didn't try and rip you off saying it was scratched etc. also a good laundry lady next door. Wifi was a bit dodgy kept dropping out. The food was okay, nice vegetarian restaurant opposite tesco if you like veggie food (ons Thai issan) again good for budget travellers.

A place to sleep
It doesn't have much to offer, but it's a cheap place to stay on the river. Good location, and good for a tight budget. Nothing remarkable, but it's a place to sleep

Cheap and cheerful
Stayed here many times. Cheap rooms though could do with a facelift. Great place to have a cold beer on the balcony looking out over the river Khwai.

Bad service
Bad service, the reception was so unfriendly and there were many small cockroaches in my room.

good value for money
Great guest house, good value for money. the rooms are tiny and the bed is awful but you are located on the river so it is a great experience.

In general, not bad. If the riverside can have more clear water stream, it should be much more better
